3. Your private cost of living
Your cost of living includes everything you need outside of work.
Please keep in mind that you should not enter business-related expenses for mobility now, but in step 4. Regarding the expenses for training/education, in this step, you are only asked for personal ones, like for example dancing courses. Any training, education or qualification related to your work should also be entered in step 4.
A big part of the monthly expenses of private households are spent on goods and services – private consumption. Apart from the expenses for basic needs like food, housing and clothes, this also includes money spent on health,free time, education, telecommunication, transport and all services.
How high are your private costs?
Your work generates operating expenses, no matter whether you work in an office or at home. They have to be covered as well. Their amount will be determined in the next step.
